ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog must increase funding for mental health and substance use services. More than 40% of residents in ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog report that COVID resulted in increased mental health issues. Overdose deaths have increased 38%. Overwhelmed community agencies are at the brink. Mental health and substance use recovery providers do not have the staff they need to provide care – 97% of organizations report that it is extremely difficult to recruit and retain staff.
