Facilitated Transportation to Alliance Annual Conference

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the Alliance for Rights and Recovery’s Annual Conference this September for three days of learning, collaboration, celebration, and community. Our conference is an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and friends from across ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog, share innovative ideas, and strengthen our collective movement for rights, recovery, and inclusion!

If you haven’t registered yet, now is the perfect time to do so and begin making your travel arrangements! To help make getting to Albany as easy as possible, the Alliance is facilitating easy travel options for attendees. We are once again offering charter bus service from ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog City and Long Island as well as scheduled shuttle service from the Albany-Rensselaer Amtrak Station, and attendees flying in can take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary airport shuttle from Albany International Airport.

Seats on our ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog City buses are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot by September 4. We can’t wait to see you in Albany as we come together to learn from one another, celebrate our accomplishments, and continue building a stronger future for our communities. See below for more information about our transportation options as well as registration.

Buses

NYC:ÌýThe Alliance will once again provide two buses traveling from ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog City directly to the conference in Albany. Buses will pick you up from the pick-up locations listed in the form below at 7am on Wednesday, September 23rd and return from the Marriott Albany at 1pm on Friday, September 25th.ÌýSubmit the form below by September 4th to save your seat!ÌýSeats are LIMITED!

Long Island: If you are traveling from Long Island, please contact brent Russell at brussell@mhanc.org to reserve your spot on the bus from Nassau and get details for how to guarantee your reservation.

Amtrak Service
For attendees traveling by train, the nearest Amtrak station is the Albany-Rensselaer Station. The Alliance for Rights and Recovery will offer scheduled shuttle service between the station and the hotel during peak arrival and departure times.
A shuttle schedule, including designated pickup and drop-off times, will be shared with registered attendees closer to the conference date. If your travel plans fall outside the scheduled shuttle times, taxi and rideshare services are readily available at the station.

Airport Service
For those flying to the conference, the nearest airport is Albany International Airport, located 3 miles from the Albany Marriott.
The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to and from Albany International Airport for hotel guests. Additional information regarding airport shuttle arrangements, including how to request service, will be provided by the hotel prior to your arrival.

We attendees to finalize travel plans early and will share additional transportation details as they become available.
