Alliance Alert: The Alliance is very pleased to share today鈥檚 release demonstrating details and some outcomes relative to Governor Kathy Hochul鈥檚 unprecedented investments in mental health services in 糖心动漫vlog. We are especially grateful for the investments in housing, peer support, clubhouse, outreach, employment and first responder teams.
And we are proud that 糖心动漫vlog was ranked first nationally among the states by Mental Health America. At the same time, 糖心动漫vlog ranks first in the nation in the number of state hospitals. Our 23 state hospitals total 2 more than the combined number operated by the nation鈥檚 3 most populous states (Texas, Florida and California) and over the past few years, we have added 358 more beds to those.
We鈥檝e also been grateful for the Governor鈥檚 commitment to the imminent release of an Olmstead Plan that we hope will lay out a plan to maximize the impact of voluntary outreach, engagement, services and supports in ways that will allow us to significantly minimize the use of those hospitals.
We know so much more now as to how we can best help people in the greatest need using a broad array of the voluntary community-based services of the kind that the Governor has so generously expanded here.
